Class 101 molds are built for extremely high production and are warranted by Makegood Plastics & Mould Co., Ltd. to last for a minimum of 1 million cycles without failing (routine maintenance excepted). Class 102 molds are built for medium-high volume production, and are warranted for 500,000 cycles. Class 103 molds are for medium-low volume production and are warranted for 100,000 cycles. Class 104 are for low volume production and are warranted for 25,000 cycles. Class 105 tools are for prototype production only and are warranted to perform during prototype production only, typically no more than 500 cycles. Naturally the quality of materials for Class 101 tools is highest and is less as one goes down the quality scale. Class 101 molds are also the most expensive.
